BOSSEN ERASING STEEL MEMORY PROBLEMS:
ANNOUNCES START-UP OF 3/4” STRETCHER LEVELER.

(Tianjin, China)—According to the Bossen International Company, steel memory is about to become just a bad memory, thanks to the recent start-up of the company’s new high strength stretcher leveler.
Dubbed, “The Memory Eraser” for its ability to produce laser flat, stress-free, memory free sheets, the powerful Butech Bliss stretcher-leveler can process material up to 3/4” x74”, in lengths up to 700”—including high strength steels beyond 100,000 psi yield.
The line can also deliver memory free discrete plate up to 3/4”, with short lead times and in small quantities.
The Memory Eraser exerts over 3 million pounds of stretching force to flatten steel, equalize internal fiber structure and completely erase material memory. Bossen’s Memory Free sheets are deal for operations such as oxy , plasma and laser cutting.Because the material has no residual memory, processing problems related to warping or spring back are eliminated. Using stretcher-leveled material, machines can be run at higher speeds, with greater yields, less waste and lower costs.
